Because Backup lives completely in front of the outlet, setup is very straightforward, much like installing a flatscreen TV:
- Identify your installation space. Make sure measurements/spacing are correct and clear the area of dust or debris.
- If wall-mounting, use the included template to mark your holes for screws.
- Install wall mount(s). Attach Backup units to wall mount and secure with bottom screw.
- Plug Backup into your designated wall outlet. Once plugged in, power on.
- Connect the app to finalize setup.
- Plug in your devices and you're ready to roll.
