Position the Nomad 400+ in direct, unobstructed sunlight facing the sun, and (ideally) re-aim it every ~2 hours as the sun moves. Connect the panel's HPP cable to the HPP-to-MC4 adapter, then to the 30' solar extension cable, then to the solar-to-DC adapter, and finally into an open DC port on the Core or Extend. Use the included tool to disconnect MC4 connectors — don't force them apart. Power Backup OFF before disconnecting solar under load.
