Our manufacturer’s warranty

Every BioLite product comes with 1 year of coverage for most products and 2 years for
BaseCharge 600, BaseCharge 1500, and SolarHome620+. This warranty is for defects in
workmanship and materials under normal use. Available in the US only.

Q: Why should I add an Extend protection plan?

A: The plan provides coverage for accidental damage not covered by our manufacturer’s
warranty from day one, and can even extend your mechanical and electrical failure
coverage beyond the expiration of your manufacturer's warranty. Available in the US only.

Q: What do I need to provide if I file an Extend claim?
A: When filing a claim with Extend, you will simply need to provide either your contract ID, email
address, or another identifying piece of information. The contract ID number is provided by
Extend and is not the BioLite Order Number. Available in the US only.

Q: What if I need to return my product?
A: If you return your product, BioLite returns the money you paid for the protection plan.
Depending on how much time has passed since your purchase, Extend may issue a
prorated refund. BioLite’s return policy is available here. Available in the US only.

Q: How do I purchase an Extend protection plan for my BioLite product?
A: A protection plan can be purchased online at the time of the product
purchase or customers can purchase an Extend Protection plan after
checkout and up until their product's manufacturer's warranty expires
for base plans, and up to 30 days after purchase for ADH plans. Available
in the US only.
