What is BioLite's official Cancellation & Return Policy?

BioLite Official Return Policy

BioLite gladly accepts returns within 30 days of your order being delivered. Items must be unused, unopened in original packaging, and have been purchased directly from BioLiteEnergy.com to be eligible for a return.  Any used products or missing items may result in the return being declined. BioLite does not cover return shipping costs. Once we receive returned items, BioLite will issue a refund to the original payment method.

Items marked “final sale” are not eligible for returns.

BioLite does not offer exchanges. Our team will be very happy to work with you to find new BioLite solutions that may better suit your needs, but they must be placed as a new order separate from the returns process. 

Single items from Kits and Bundles may not be returned individually. If you purchased a bundle or kit from bioliteenergy.com and are seeking a refund, the entire set of items must be shipped back in full, intact, and in original packaging.

If a purchase includes a promotional item (Gift With purchase, Deal of The Day, etc), all free gifts must be included in the return shipment. If you want to keep the promotional item, BioLite will deduct the MSRP value from the refunded amount.

Please allow up to 3 weeks from the return shipped date for your return to be processed. Once a refund is issued, you should see a credit posted to your account within 7-10 business days. You will also receive an email notification once a refund is issued.

 

Pre-Ship Cancellations

There is a very short period within which we can cancel an order, typically within 1 business day (we try to ship quickly!). If you wish to cancel your order, please contact BioLite immediately here and write "ORDER # - CANCEL" in the subject line.  We will do our best to put a stop to the order and initiate a cancellation, but cannot guarantee the result. If your item has already shipped from our warehouse, you will need to receive the shipment and initiate the standard return process. 

Just a quick heads up! If you place an order over the weekend and then decide to cancel it, there's a chance it might have been shipped before we receive your request.

Modifications to an existing order are not possible. If an order is still pending processing (generally within the 1 business day mark), request a cancellation to BioLite following the instructions above. If cancellation is possible, you may then re-submit your order with the desired changes to your cart. Cancellation is not guaranteed and is available only on orders that have not yet shipped and have been processed by our warehouse.

For Returns for Goal Zero Yeti Power Stations containing lithium batteries:

Warranty issues and returns for Yeti Portable Power Stations containing lithium batteries will be handled through our Customer Solutions Center in Salt Lake City. Please carefully refer to the Instructions below for Yeti Power Stations. Please see the cost below associated with returns of Goal Zero Yeti Lithium products for refunds. All return costs will be removed from the original amount paid.

*As of January 12, 2026 Fedex issued an oversized package surcharge resulting in the increased cost of shipping and returning oversized items >100 lbs like the Yeti PRO 4000.

BioLite is proud to be carried all over the world through a network of trusted retailers. If you have made a purchase at a local store or online retailer, please contact them directly to process your return or exchange.

 

Protect Yourself From Amazon & eBay Resellers: If purchasing through Amazon, check to ensure that your order is fulfilled by BioLite. **BioLite is the only authorized retailer on the Amazon platform, we do not sell on eBay,  any other listing is not verified and not eligible for warranty or returns** 3rd party listings may show a lower price but we cannot guarantee the quality, state, or origin of the product and we strongly recommend you purchase through trusted partners or BioLite instead.
